Tryouts tomorrow will end at 5pm at the high school. The best place to pick your player up is at Tomahawk Elem.

I’m thrilled to see all the players putting in the effort they have and honestly hate that any of them will not make the team this season. This is a good group of kids that I’ve enjoyed getting to know and it frankly sucks to disappoint any of them.

Unfortunately, numerous players will not make the team due to our constraints on the number of players that may play. For those players that do not make the team, I have sent home some information on a yellow sheet regarding other soccer options that I hope they will pursue, if the school team is not in the cards this season. All of them have a good chance to make the team next Spring if they continue to play and work hard to continue to improve. If any parents have any questions or recommendations, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Rather than doing a 1st round of “cuts”, I am doing a 1st round of “7th & 8th grade players that have made the team”. The players below have made the team and do not have to come to tryouts on Friday. They may come to play if they like, but it is optional. I do this to help narrow down the field of players in order to get to see each of them more closely as final decisions are being made.
